Located within the beautiful Wealden National Landscape, Hole Park offers an idyllic setting in which to create a unique and memorable event, with the freedom to make your own selection of caterers, suppliers and contractors.
Whether it’s the start to your ‘happy ever after’ or a different but equally special celebration, you can do so in style against the stunning backdrop of one of Kent’s most exclusive and charming private estates.
Choose from our Grade II listed 18th century Great Barn or create a completely bespoke celebration space in our magnificent Gardens and parkland close to the main house.
The Great Barn
Located to the east of the Hole Park Estate amid farmland, orchards and Kentish oasts and enjoying serene countryside views, the Great Barn provides the ideal blank canvas in which to create your perfect event.
With its original high-beamed period charm, the Great Barn can seat up to 160 people and its spacious interior – spread over two levels – can accommodate all your event elements: ceremony, dining, dancing and entertainment.
The Great Barn is an official Kentish Civil Ceremony Venue and with four licensed areas – beneath the vaulted ceiling of the barn, amidst the orchard, under the canopy of the adjacent open barn, or on the Courtyard lawn– the choice is yours!
The Barn has its own road access and hire includes prolonged setup time and completely exclusive use.

Directions (coming from Hastings): From the centre of Rolvenden take the A28 towards Tenterden. Just beyond the end of the 30mph limit turn left into Halden Lane, the turning for which is next to a housing development. Drive for 1½ miles to the first farm on the right, Halden Place (opposite Leyton House). Enter Halden Place and drive straight on, with the orchard on your left. The Great Barn is situated on your right hand side.
Bespoke Spaces
If your dream is to have a wedding in a remote field, a hilltop location, beside a river or deep in the countryside then we have it. Please let us help to bring your dream to reality at Hole Park by discussing it with us for the opportunity to create a truly bespoke event.
By special arrangement, you can hire the gardens or parkland with marquee space, usually located with magnificent views in land surrounding the house and gardens. Here you can create your own unique celebration space using your own contractors and suppliers and make your dream event a reality.
Please note: Hole Park house, which is a private residence, is not available for hire.

Just a quick note to say what a perfect venue The Great Barn was. Everybody commented on its beautiful, peaceful setting and it all looked so pretty with the meadowsweet growing in the ditch and the wild flowers round the apple trees in the orchard. The barn itself is unique in its unspoilt, rural feel. A number of guests commented on how historical and grounded in the land it felt – we loved that too. Everyone at Great Barn Weddings was super helpful at all times and I was impressed at the speed at which you answered my questions and dealt with my requests.
