Membership cards are for use as an individual, a member of a family or one of a party of friends. If you visit with a pre-booked group you do not qualify for free entry. If you are booking an organised tour for a group, you will be asked to pay our group tour rates even if everyone in the group is a member of Historic Houses. Read the terms of membership..

All Groups who have pre-booked a visit to our gardens can expect to be met at the front of the house for an introductory talk and can be further enhanced by the optional guided tour.
We are pleased to cater to your requirements, including homemade teas or lunches, for which we reserve the Rolls Room adjacent to the public tearoom for your private use. Catering to your specific requirements may be possible when arranged in advance but provided you are happy to order from our seasonal menu we can usually handle orders placed on the day.
We are also able to prepare packed meals when arranged in advance, for those short of time for their onward travel.
Deposits are not usually requirements but bookings should usually be settled on the day by invoice.

Hole Park Estate is situated between the pretty Kent villages of Benenden and Rolvenden and a short distance from the historic Cinque Port town of Tenterden in a beautiful area of the High Weald National Landscape (formerly AONB). On a larger scale, Hole Park sits equidistant from the larger towns of Maidstone, Ashford, Hastings and Royal Tunbridge Wells.

It is easily accessible from Dover or the Channel Tunnel (about 50 mins) and from the M25, M26 or M20 (about 45 mins).

Bus route 297 [Trans-Weald] from Tunbridge Wells to Tenterden passes Hole Park and is available as a request stop.
The closest railway stations are Staplehurst and Headcorn. Taxis can be pre-booked from MTC Taxis. The journey from Staplehurst or Headcorn takes approximately 20 minutes by car.
Our gardens are accessible to all. Upon arrival we will provide you with a map showing the accessible route around the gardens which we have achieved by removing almost all steps and providing a hard surface loop around most of the garden. There are some areas which are more difficult to use and alternative routes are offered:
Please try to keep to the paths, particularly in damp conditions.
There is a disabled WC in the Stable Yard with baby changing facilities.
We reserve the right to deny access to Transit Chairs (those with 4 small equal wheels) intended for use in institutional environments. These are not suitable for more robust garden use. Consider transferring to one of our wheelchairs, available for free hire. Wheelchairs may be reserved by emailing info@holepark.com

Delicious teas and light lunches are available in our Coach House tearoom whenever the gardens are open to the public. The tearoom opens at 11am and closes at 5pm during Spring. During July to October the tearoom opens at 11am and closing times may vary, please speak to staff on the day of your visit.
We support local producers and small businesses, using homemade or local produce where possible.
A selection of home produced chutneys, jams and Hole Park honey are available for sale alongside a small range of other gifts and souvenirs in the Coach House Tea Room
Subject to resources available, we are happy to adapt our meals to accommodate common intolerances and allergies, making substitutions with other ingredients. Please speak to a member of staff at the counter if you have dietary requirements.
Please use the designated picnic benches at the car park. No picnics in the garden or Coach House tearoom.
We welcome well-behaved owners with their dogs! Dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times. Long extended leads should be kept short.
Dog water bowls are available in the stable yard outside the Coach House tearoom.
You are welcome to give your dog longer walks on the extensive footpath network across the estate – leading into the parkland from the flagpole at the top of the driveway. Footpaths can be found here using postcode TN17 4JA. We are a working estate and you should take care when on footpaths.
